Work ethic, endurance, and ageless style embody the spirit of Gallatin. Natural grace with abundant trees and rolling hills, sweeping green pastures, the curves of long driveways. Gracious hospitality. We’re comfortable being who we are and equally comfortable with you being whatever you want to be.
Gallatin has miles of lakeshore and riverfront, 800-plus acres of parks and trails, and a vibrant downtown. We love our close proximity to Nashville, but we also have our own, unique vibe with a mix of influences that preserve our originality. Nashville is your backyard
With Nashville in your backyard, you can enjoy all the amenities of a big city. Enjoy world-class arts, dining and entertainment. Professional sports – NFL, NHL, MLS, and AAA Baseball. Home of country music, but so much more diverse than that!
a vibrant downtown
While many cities' downtown neighborhoods have diminished over the years, Gallatin's downtown is thriving. Locally-owned shops, theatres, restaurants, and breweries line our historic streets.
live the lake life
Gallatin's location on the edge of Old Hickory Lake provides residents with miles of beautiful lakeshore, waterfront housing and endless opportunities for recreation including boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and more.
Concerts, festivals & More
Nashville isn’t the only city that knows how to have a good time. Gallatin has its own, free summer concert series on the square, countless festivals, and special events for kids and pets – family fun all year long.
The Gallatin COmmunity
Gallatin's true grit and amazing grace are on display in every facet of life. Sure, the folks in Gallatin love being able to spend time in a cool city like Nashville whenever they want. But what we love even more is being able to come home to what we regard as our own little corner of heaven.
The thing is, the people of Gallatin have got some attitude. We would rather focus on enjoying our own lives than worrying about keeping up with the Joneses, with Nashville or anyone else. Strong character and strong opinions mean we do things our own way, with an eye toward what works, not what’s trending. And we're refreshingly unconcerned about trying to impress people — which is what impresses so many people who come here.
OUTDOOR RECREATION
Gallatin does outdoor recreation like no one else, thanks to our prime location on the edge of Old Hickory Lake northeast of Nashville. From boating and fishing to stand-up yoga paddle boarding, residents of Gallatin are never without something to do.
And if lake and river life isn't quite your speed, our community also offers endless opportunities for hiking across our 800+ acres of parks and trails, 4 pristine golf courses, a 7 mile mountain bike course perfect for beginners and experts alike, a skateboard park, pickleball courts, and an award winning ADA-compliant playground – the Miracle Park – open to all abilities.
hospitality & culture
No one is a stranger here in Gallatin. In every shop and every restaurant, every church or school or festival, you’ll be greeted like an old friend. Turns out when people are comfortable being who they are, they’re equally comfortable with you being whatever you want to be.
We welcome the flavor of other cultures, especially in our eateries. Our historic downtown is packed with locally owned restaurants and breweries including Swaney Swifts on the Square, Big Trouble Brewing, and Prince Street Pizza. Across the city, you have unique choices ranging from Top Hog’s famous bbq and burgers, to Alberto’s Brazilian and European dishes and desserts, to Jonathan’s Bar & Grille where you can watch pretty much every sport at the same time. Oh, and did we mention we have some darn good meat-and-threes?
For a family company like ours, the quality of people was crucial. We are Italian and a family company. We needed to have personal relationships with our partners. Our decision to invest and grow brought us to Tennessee and Gallatin. Our new Gallatin facility is an important part of our growth not only in the United States, but for our markets throughout the world. We look forward to being part of the community for years to come.
